Pickleball Tournaments Feb. 28, 2026

The first of four tournaments will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at Waynesville High School.

Start times for subsequent tournaments will follow, based on the pace of play.

The Waynesville R-VI School District Foundation is hosting four different pickleball tournaments in the Waynesville High School gym, located at 200 G.W. Lane St. in Waynesville, MO.

Concessions will be available as a way to further support the Foundation.

Proceeds from this tournament will benefit the Waynesville R-VI School District Foundation, which directs its resources toward enriching the educational experience for both students and staff in the Waynesville R-VI School District.

MISSION

The Waynesville R-VI Foundation promotes educational excellence for every child by raising, managing, and distributing private investments to benefit Waynesville R-VI students.

​

EXAMPLES

Foundation funds have been used to:

• award scholarships for graduating seniors

• buy shoes and school supplies for students who are in need

• provide grants to teachers for special projects and programs, such as sensory items, etc.

• sponsor motivational speakers for students

• Provide funds for Snack in a Pack, a program that provides meals for students on weekends and holidays who might otherwise go hungry

The four tournaments are:

1. Recreational Open Doubles: Teams consist of two players of any gender combination.

2. Competitive Men’s Doubles: Teams consist of two male players.

3. Competitive Women’s Doubles: Teams consist of two female players.

4. Competitive Mixed Doubles: Teams consist of one male and one female player.

The registration fee is $50 per team per EACH tournament and must be paid at the event before play begins. This will be paid at the door on the day of the tournament.

One person must register the team using this form. If a player wishes to compete in multiple tournaments, a separate form must be submitted for the other tournament.

​

The person submitting the registration must include their cell phone number and email address for tournament communications.

Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.

​
